When you're interested in the user's Ad you can click on button "I'm interested" and new popup will show up where you can write a short message which acts the same as sending a message request.
After that the user will receive your message request and then he can accept or reject it. If the user accepts your messsage request then your message goes to inbox (messages) where you both continue your conversation.
