You can create a new event only on your own profiles simply by clicking on "plus" icon below the calendar at the right where are the "Upcoming events" or by clicking on "Create an event" button.
The popup will show up where you can select a event host (your profile), type an event title, select an event type, select an event image, select a start date, start time, end date, end time, type a location and a short description of your event.
When you're typing a location you can select an existing location (profile) from dropdown menu, but if there's no location to select, you can type the full name and address of your location where the event will take place.
Creating a new event is not free.
